Iran Sanctions Bill

The Senate Finance Committee is expected to hold a markup of a bill strengthening sanctions against Iran as a result of its continued pursuit of a nuclear program. The bill would prohibit the trading of most products with Iran, trade preferences for them, and their entrance into the World Trade Organization. U.S. companies would be subject to sanctions if foreign subsidiaries of theirs violate current sanctions.
