Scott is the managing editor of Congress.org. He's been in political journalism for more than 20 years, most recently as the Government & Politics Editor for the St. Petersburg Times in Florida. He was the supervising editor of the Times' fact-check project, PolitiFact.com, which won the 2009 Pulitzer Prize in national reporting for its coverage of the 2008 presidential campaign. Previously, Scott was managing editor of CQ Weekly, a sister publication of Congress.org.
